- Larry Rousseve - guitars, vocals and tres. Larry has immersed himself with the study of music since age 11 on guitar and piano. He has performed in the pit orchestras for broadway musicals and other productions since his teens. While studying and performing classical and flamenco guitar he also performed with pop rock groups. He completed a 4 1/2 year Bachelor of Music program at California State University, Fullerton, CA.. He studied guitar extensively with David Grimes, Scott Zeidel, Pepe Romero and Tony Rizzi; and composing and arranging with composer/scholar Andy Charlton. Larry performed in many recitals, solo and in ensemble during this period. By the time Larry had completed his Bachelor of Music degree he was performing extensively for: pit orchestras, live shows, restaurants, night clubs in many musical styles. He also doubles on mandolin, banjo and tres meeting the demands of a variety of music. Larry has recorded for many music groups and film and video sound tracks. He has toured abroad and opened for such acts as Crystal Gale, Kenny Rankin and Jackson Browne. He has performed with: Alex Ligertwood - lead singer of Santana 1979 - 1994 and David Margen - bassist, Santana 1977 - 1982. He has performed with "Little Anthony and the Imperials", Las Vegas based "Legends in Concert" and worked regularly with the Wayne Foster orchestra. He has composed, arranged and recorded the theme and some episode music for the TV program, "Twinkles and Friends" and has a soon to be released CD(Jan. 2006) called "Chips and Salsa" with the group "Festivo".
- Ed Rhodes - bass, vocals Ed is comfortable ground be it in Jazz, R&B, Latin, Rock or Blues. Originally from the S.F. Bay Area, Ed has been residing in Los Angeles since 1986 and has been performing in Concerts, Nightclubs and Recording Sessions as well as numerous on camera appearances on TV and in Feature Films. Ed started playing bass at 12 years old and was playing and recording professionally around the Bay Area by age 15. Upon graduating High School, Ed studied music at California State University at Hayward where he majored in Music Education. Ed’s musical journey has included performing with Stevie Wonder, Patti La Belle, Little Richard, Ray Charles, B. B. King, Malo, Freda Payne, Temptations, Little Anthony, Joe Henderson, Barbara Morrison to name a few. Ed has also served as musical director for the late Charles Brown, The Platters, The Coasters, The Cherelles, Percy Sledge, Bobby Freeman and Bo Diddley. Ed’s TV and film credits include appearances in “Whats Love Got to Do With It”. “Little Penny Nike Commercials” Ray Charles Diet Pepsi Commercials”, “Baywatch”, “Parker Kane”, and “Kentucky Fried Chicken”
- Carlos Arias - percussion, born in Caracas, Venezuela, is an accomplished drummer as well as a world-class Latin and classical percussionist who moved from Venezuela to Los Angeles in 2002. Since arriving in the U.S., Carlos has recorded, performed and/or toured with many great artists, including Juan Gabriel, Thalia, Marisela, Maxine Nightingale, Jimmy Bosch, the Miami Symphony Orchestra, Mexico’s Sinaloa Symphony Orchestra of the Arts, Son by Four singer Luis Damon, Tabaco y Ron, Luz, Jive Aces, Jessie Allen Cooper, Rudy Regalado, Son Mayor, Opa Opa, Yari More, Festivo, Rumbale, Phil Robinson, Ritmo Caliente, Melaza, Mark Gutierrez, Gilberto Torrez, Marji Arias and Candi Sosa. For 25 years in Venezuela, Carlos was principal percussionist and lead timpanist -- first with the Municipal Symphonic Orchestra of Caracas, and then with the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Venezuela. Carlos Arias has also appeared on television, radio, in festivals and nightclubs throughout Latin America and Europe with stellar artists, including Chick Corea, John Novello, Ilan Chester, Cheo Feliciano, Alfredo Naranjo, Victor Cuica, Maria Rivas, Nanci Toro, Grupo Bamboo, Jose Luis Rodriguez (“El Puma”), Mirla Castellanos, Aquiles Baez, and Domingo Sanchez Bor. Presently, Carlos is playing timbales with Opa Opa and drumset with Soul Sacrifice (Santana Tribute). He is also acting as musical director and drummer for Che y Su Barrio Latino and is musical director for his own Latin Jazz group, Guapachá.

Soul Sacrifice Larry R band recreates the fire and grace of Santana music at every performance. The band has been performing since 1999. Shows include Japan, Mexico, west coast casinos, outdoor festivals, Knotts Berry Farm and concerts in the park in Eagle Rock where the band was awarded a Certificate of Recognition from the City of Los Angeles.
